Below are links to reviews I've written about solo piano or piano & strings music that I enjoy. I've written these mostly for my own purposes - to help cement in my mind what works well musically and further my compositional development. I hope these short reviews might also serve as interesting reads for others, so I thought I'd also share them here.

The reviews will feature tracks by pianist and composers that mostly fall under the 'contemporary-instrumental' or 'new-age' umbrella. I also plan to write about movie themes and film cues cues that heavily feature the piano, as this is another one of my listening passions.

I might also include one or two pieces from the classical canon, such as Erik Satie, Maurice Ravel, Frédéric Chopin, Camille Saint-Saëns and Claude Debussy. I am particularly fond of Impressionistic and Romantic era composers, because these compositions are so dramatic in that they almost paint visual stories in the minds eye.
